Happiness: Truth or Illusion

He wanted a keyboard as in the synthesizer when he was 12. he thought he would learn to play the keyboards and then show off to his friends. “NO” was the reply to his this demand. Happiness— every ones against his happiness he thought. The month of December brought in some change in his thoughts coz his santa gifted him the keyboards. He then couldn’t figure out who the santa was rather he was that interested in knowing who the santa actually was because of the only reason that his point of interest was “the keyboard”. His happiness— the keyboard.

Where is the keyboard? He never wondered. Is it lost, stolen or broken???? It was none of his business or point of happiness as he grew up. What is his point of interest or happiness them. A guitar or drums….nahhhhhhh….it was a bike, a motor bike as he had already entered his teens was SIXTEEN and had cleared his boards. He was tired and wanted to relax, may be chill out with his friends or just show off to gurls or may be wanted to show off to the people that its his TEEN.

This time there was a slight change, there was of course a “NO” on this demand as well but then before he could manage to convert the No to yes he thought bikes a waste coz by that time he was coming to the end of his teens and with this shift is his age there was a shift is the point of happiness again. Can anyone guess wats it now?????

No wonder! It was a mate. A life-mate who he thinks to be a complete sweat heart, an angel a person who he could really trust on for the rest of his life…a perfect package. Cards exchanged, Gifts exchanged, butterflies in the stomach, long hours on phone, all those mushy mssging, those sweet gudnites sweet dreams…feeling lazy to hangup…those long phone bills..scoldings from dad…..maths exam ahead…still on phone…..loving the song “Pehla Nasha”…..:)…first time holding hands…those long walks on a lonely road….those unspoken words….life seesm so beautiful to him!

Then,,,,,,,

Mates move to the college….she calls up…..stop pestering me he replies….damn u am in the college……stop pesterin me…we ll talk wen I get back……beep!

“am back….now tell me wats it”…he says…. “oh sweetheart am out with friends…can I call u after some time”

This seems to be a gradual shift again in his life as hes ending up with the teens. Thus now keeping the mate to ones side again a search of new point of happiness. Wats it now??? No one knows..may be college, may be a job, may be money…..it may be anything but then how long will that anything be the point of happiness.

This happiness seems to him more like an illusion than a truth?

If he would have taken a proper care of each point of his happiness probably it would have been more of a truth than an illusion.

This post compelled me to drop hereby.

Sorry, the problem with me is I'm too straight-forward at times. Your post sounds interesting but lil bit meticulous clarity may make it awesome for readers.

By d way, ur posts are as rocking as urself.

watch "pursuit of happiness"...u'll know why!

the philosophical me: we take a lot of things granted in life, happiness comes from within...take a deep look at yourself and only when you realise that there are bigger puzzles ahead waiting to be cracked, will be agree that happiness may no be a mirage afterall.

the me in HNLU: happiness is one difficult thing to be found here!
